Weapons to be used during the occupation of our new homeland

Okay, so if this happens you will probably have access to any weapon that can be reasonably obtained. F/a and destructive devices included. Your ideal weapons?

L2a1/FAL. Preferably an L2a1 because customary > metric.
Colt Special Combat Goverment 1911 .45
Benelli M4.
Colt Python/Diamondback.

nuggets, its not just the /k/mmando in me saying that but a nugget is a good gun. it has range, relatively accurate and easy to get a hold of.

Sidearms. Hipowers would be a good choice but im personally for the CZ series for its glorious CZECHNOLOGY and ability to eat through shitty ammo without a problem.

Glorious SKS again like Nugget but more expensive and semi-auto.

Whole AK family, buy in bulk from Norinco.

Nuggets, SKS, and a Nagant revolver; because Sovied Fudd bee Sovied Fudd.

But how easily could we get a hold of nagant pistols?

Nuggets of course. They would be great for DMR's and training implements. Higher quality pieces would be used for ceremonial purposes. But we are going to have to use select fire and support weapons. AKs, SKSes, and anything else that can be had for cheap. I will gladly purchase my own weapons when the time comes. What are our uniform and gear regulations?

Should we focus on what we can get outside of the US, so we're not using the US as a transit point for "arms smuggling"?
We could probably pick up AK variants in Africa for very little.

I heard that if you can buy AKs in Mogadishu for like $30. Same goes for stuff like RPGs and heavy machine guns.

any ideas as for mortars/artillery? and we will need ammo too. much ammo.

I say stay away from Arms smuggling till were offshore and do it through a intelligence service CIA FSB MI6, etc because if we become an asset they will cover us. if not we will be came down apon hard.

Should we list what we DO have in the way of weapons and equipment, or are we all afraid of the Cyber Police backtracing us?

So you're afraid that posting the things you legally own is more illegal than postulating the purchase of black market weapons after seceding from the country and possibly using them to take an impoverished nation by force?

That just sounds a little...off...to me.

I mean if everyone is afraid of everyone else finding out they cannot into guns because of their age or income, that's fair enough, but how can we really know where we stand as a force if we don't know what we have?

To my understanding nothing we're doing is illegal. It might be a misdemeanor. If we want to go to Somalia and take that peninsula, no one would give a flip flying fuck. Hell, we could even be contracted to defend boats from pirates. That would be a great way to get funding, and we would be damn effective at it. Can you imagine what a few well placed 7.62x54r rounds would do to a small motorboat? We should start practicing for firing at moving targets from an unstable platform. Maybe get in a bed of a pickup and attach targets to remote control cars. Have the driver take you over hills and around corners at about thirty miles an hour through a pasture. The guy riding shotgun will control the RC vehicles and attempt to simulate the movements of a boat on water. Once you can hit the targets consistently, say, three out of five shots, you are good to go. Also, I am torrenting the Dokument but because I'm using and ACER aspire (funny how that's one word away from aspie), it's not going so well. But we should probably read up on amphibious warfare and naval tactics. Any Muhreens (this term used with nothing but affection and endearment) we have aboard would be distributed one per boat. Lets say we have 12 boats. We put five men per, designated as a squad. One Muhreen per boat as squad leader.

I'm sure someone has a better idea, I'm just trying to think of ways to best utilize the skills we have among us.

Well Germany's had troops here for awhile, our camp USED to be owned by the Dutch (come to think of it), the camp surrounding ours is all owned by T66 (Auzzies), T77 is here (Lithuanians), there are some Croations I've seen and there are some more coalition forces, but I don't really go out to the larger camp too often so i can't recall who...I want to say Greek but that doesn't sound right.
