If its the TX car armoring company I've seen in youtube vids and contractor documentaries then that's a no go. Cars uparmored for just pistol rounds run anywhere between $60k and $100k, not including the price of the car. Of course they make the interior and exterior look like factory as much as possible so the price might come down some if we don't mind seeing welded metal plates everywhere inside.

you know i've just remembered some thing. we cant just slap some plate on the side of our car and go get shot at. it has to be a certain type of steel.

It just has to have a certain number on whatever the strength scale is. I read about that when I bought my Steel Plates for my vest.

You can buy steel at that strength (it's what steel targets are).

k i didn't know the particulars i just remember having a chat with some motor pool guys.

you have steel plates? how much do they weigh? we only had ceramic plates.
