Re: The fleet so far.
If we get a russian boat she will be named after Kalashnikov and hold all the vodka
Also we could invest in lighthouse boats as lookout/listening posts.
it wont let me post urls for a week

I move that the SS Niggerdicks be spelled in Russian, as to throw off the enemy.

Re: The fleet so far.
I move that our main land vehicle, one that would serve the same roles as the American HMMWV, is the /k/ Prius. We should get a contract with /o/ to build the cars to our standards. They can also serve as scout aircraft and gunships, as well as amphibious landing vehicles. They have the capability to serve as troop carriers, ambulances, SAM launcher platforms, and many many more. They can be utilized in any way, in any weather, on any terrain, and are an economic and environmentally safe choice for today's discerning operator.

Hiluxes are the best option. They're durable, battle-proven, widely available, and we can get weapons that already fit them.

Technicals. Fuck yeah.
Re: The fleet so far.
I don't suppose anyone here has experience as a mechanic, electrician or engineer...do any of you?
I sure as fuck do not.
For the Hiluxes, can someone get us a quote on what those would cost? Maybe see if there's a defense contractor that sells any Up-Armored ones.
As for BTRs, APCs, etc. we would really only use them for training until we started operating operationally. Things like Hiluxes are incognito enough to keep civy eyes off of them, plus if actual armor is too expensive, we can always use phonebooks.

I've got some mechanical experience. I really only know how to keep a minivan riding comfortably so that the soccer moms' anuses don't get over-inflamed.

Probably $5000 or less for a 90s-vintage Hilux. Add some scrap metal for armor.Kolt.1911 wrote:Pendrake wrote:I don't suppose anyone here has experience as a mechanic, electrician or engineer...do any of you?

Not superior in power but superior in that in wont break, and if it does you can fix it with a big hammer and a swift kick.
Re: The fleet so far.
When I went to Vietnam I rode in a UAZ, and for a military vehicle it was perfectly fine. And old vehicle but fine. What you need to watch out for are the Chinese copies. Had a look at the tranny of one when they were working on it and the gear looked like they were made of plastic.

If its the TX car armoring company I've seen in youtube vids and contractor documentaries then that's a no go. Cars uparmored for just pistol rounds run anywhere between $60k and $100k, not including the price of the car. Of course they make the interior and exterior look like factory as much as possible so the price might come down some if we don't mind seeing welded metal plates everywhere inside.
